Cemig is associated with eight entities related to the Electric Energy Sector whose main activity is to contribute to the evolution of the sector's regulation.
Cemig pays maintenance fees to each association as well as to other member companies. These fees are established in the meetings of the entities, according to the respective statutes.
The following is the list of the main sectorial entities:
ABCE – Associação Brasileira de Companhias de Energia Elétrica (Brazilian Association of Electric Energy Companies).
ABRACEEL – Associação Brasileira dos Comercializadores de Energia (Brazilian Association of Energy Traders);
ABRADEE – Associação Brasileira dos Distribuidores de Energia Elétrica (Brazilian Association of Electric Energy Distributors);
ABRAGE – Associação Brasileira das Empresas Geradoras de Energia Elétrica (Brazilian Association of Electric Energy Generating Companies);
ABRAGEL – Associação Brasileira de Geração de Energia Limpa (Brazilian Association of Clean Energy Generation);
ABRAGET – Associação Brasileira de Geradoras Termelétricas (Brazilian Association of Thermoelectric Generators);
ABRATE – Associação Brasileira de Empresas de Transmissão de Energia Elétrica (Brazilian Association of Electric Energy Transmission);
APINE – Associação Brasileira dos Produtores Independentes de Energia Elétrica (Brazilian Association of Independent Electric Power Producers).
