Praias de Parajuru Wind Power Plant consists of 19 wind turbines, with a total installed power of 28.8 MW. The equipment is manufactured by the German company Vensys, model VS77, with permanent magnet synchronous multipole generator and unit power of 1,540 kVA, nominal output voltage of 690 Volts, operating with nominal wind speed of 11m/s and installed at 85 meters high
The plant is installed in the municipality of Beberibe, Ceará, 102 km east of State capital Fortaleza.
The elevating substation is located in the wind power plant itself, with two 20 MVA and 15 MVA – 34.5 KV/69 kV transformers, making up Parajuru A and Parajuru B power buses, through which the wind turbines are connected to Enel Concessionaire’s Distribution Grid.
