We know how important it is to have safety in all areas of our lives. In buildings it wouldn’t be any different either. Remember our safety tips whenever you start a new project and protect yourself!

  1. Before building, contact Cemig for further guidance;
  2. Scaffolding and walls near the grid represent a danger of electric shock;
  3. Do not come near electrical cables and do not use Cemig poles to support scaffolding;
  4. Furthermore, in construction, the handling of metallic objects (rebar, rulers, ladders, scaffolding, among others) is a common practice. Therefore, be careful when handling these objects near the electrical grid. Avoid touching them or bringing them close to the electrical grid, as you may suffer a severe electric shock;
  5. At higher voltage levels, simply approaching the conductors may cause shock without direct contact with them. Therefore, be careful when operating trucks with buckets, cranes, concrete mixers and excavators close to the electrical grid;
  6. Do not drill wells under the electric grid, as the drill used may approach the wires when removed from the ground;

And always remember: in case of doubt, contact Cemig. We are at your service.
