Cemig strengthens its commitment to human rights
The company prepared a document to guide the activities of its leadership, employees, business partners and suppliers.
Cemig stands out for its respect for human rights and acts in alignment with the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights of the United Nations (UN), the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the fundamental labor standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO), and the UN Global Compact.
In order to strengthen its commitment and guide the practices of its leadership, employees, business partners and suppliers, in 2017, Cemig formalized a public document named “Commitment to Human Rights”, guiding all relationships established between Cemig and its stakeholders.
